These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy of your information.

The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering in this promotion, you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy, and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their participation into the promotion, participants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

Eligibility

  1. This promotion is open to Tesco shoppers who are Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales) residents aged 18+ only and excludes employees and the immediate families of Nestlé UK Ltd (“the Promoter”), Tesco Stores Ltd, its affiliated companies, agents or anyone else professionally connected to the promotion.
  2. Mobile phone required.
  3. Purchase necessary. Please retain original winning Quality Street® tub, Lucky Penny wrappers, the winning insert and a valid till receipt or copy of online order showing the purchase of tub before the date of entry and within the stated promotion period for each entry or details relating to receipt of the tub. These details will be required for the claim process.
  4. Anyone trying to circumvent the rules stated in these Terms and Conditions by using alternative details will be disqualified from this promotion.
  5. All winners must have a GB valid address and a GB or equivalent bank account to claim their prize.

Promotional Period

  1. The Quality Street Tesco is open until POS and details in the Tesco stores are removed, but the prizes can be claimed until 30.09.26.
  2. Due to the nature of the promotion (i.e., which involves the finding of the Lucky Pennies in a Quality Street® tub which are limited in number), and the independent random distribution of these Lucky Pennies Tubs, all of the 5 Quality Street® tubs may be purchased before the end of the promotional period.

Entry Requirements

  1. For your chance to win one of 5 x £15,000 in winning Quality Street® tubs, participants must:
    Purchase a participating tub of Quality Street® from participating store across Tesco® supermarkets displaying the promotion (subject to availability and while stocks last- see Appendix 1 below for participating stores). Winning tubs will contain Lucky Pennies, and a winning insert including details on how to claim.
  2. There are 5 chances to win £15,000 cash prize winning Quality Street® tubs which have been allocated by an independently verified process across participating tubs. As all prizes have been allocated randomly, not all pack variants or Tesco outlets may have Quality Street® tubs filled with Lucky Pennies and a winning insert. Whilst all prizes are available to be won, not all winning Quality Street® tub inserts may be found or claimed. Any prizes not claimed before 30.09.2026 will become void and removed from the promotion. Instant win prizes, once found, can be redeemed at any time until 30.09.2026.
    If your purchased tub does not include a winning insert or the Lucky Pennies, then unfortunately you are not a winner.

Prize Details
Headline £15,000 cash prize

  1. There are 5 x £15,000 cash prizes paid via BACS available to be won until 30.09.2026, via randomly seeded winning Quality Street® tubs.
  2. Any winning Quality Street® tub will contain a winning insert with details on how to claim the prize. The prize must be claimed by 30.09.2026. After this date, any unclaimed winning tubs will be declared null and void.
  3. Winners must retain the winning tub, the Lucky Penny wrappers and the winning insert found in the tub and be able to provide the unique number on the insert to verify their claim. Proof of purchase or the details relating to the receipt of the tub will also be required to claim the prize.

How to claim prizes

  1. If you find a winning tub once opening the tub itself, call the number featured on the winning insert.
  2. Winners will be required to share personal details on the phone including: your full name, email address and the unique code found on the winning insert, you will then be asked to provide further information in relation to the winning tub to assist with the claim process before claim validation can take place.
  3. Please note that each of the 5 lucky winning tubs will contain Quality Street® Toffee Pennies with Tesco branded wrapping plus a winning insert, which will be required to validate the claim. Fake or copied winning insert/lucky penny wrappers pretending to be a winning item will not be entertained.
  4. Please retain the tub, the winning insert, all the Lucky Pennies wrappers and original receipt, or details of how you received the tub as they will be required for prize claim. The Tesco wrapped Quality Street® Lucky Pennies sweet can be kept or eaten.
  5. Each receipt or an understanding of how the tub was received is important and vital for the claim purposes and can only be used once. Entrants who do not give correct details, provide inaccurate or the wrong or incorrectly dated receipts or those who make an entry on someone else's behalf will be disqualified.
  6. Participating tubs include:
    1. Quality Street® 550g tubs containing Quality Street® sweets.
    2. Winning Insert detailing the claim instructions.
    3. Lucky Tesco Pennies wrapped sweets.
  7. For the £15,000 cash prize claim, see details on the insert in the winning tub. There will be one winning insert only inside each winning tub. Instructions will be given to the winning entrants including the details of what is required to verify and process for a BACS transfer for their prize win.
  8. Once winners have been verified following the claim process and valid bank details have been supplied, all cash prizes will be sent via BACS. Please allow for 7 working days for the cash prize to show up in a bank account following the valid claim and the completion of the verification process. It is each winner's responsibility to ensure that they provide valid GB bank details for prize fulfilment.
  9. It is the responsibility of the winners to supply the correct personal information, including checking their valid address as part of the verified claim process. The Promoter will not be held liable for non-delivery of a prize due to the provision of incorrect information. The Promoter will be unable to amend a payment once a winner's details have been submitted at the verification stage.

Winner Selection and notification

  1. A total of 5 winning Quality Street® tubs with a winning insert have been randomly distributed via an independently verified process into promotional stock available for distribution to the market place. This allows consumers the opportunity to purchase any of the winning tubs during the promotional period. If your Quality Street® tub does not contain Lucky Pennies and winning insert then unfortunately you have not won this time.
  2. Please note that the 5 winning 550g tubs have been randomly seeded in participating stores and other product variants will not contain a winning insert.
  3. Quality Street® tubs with Lucky Pennies that do not have a valid winning insert do not equate to a win and any claims received without a valid winning insert will not be accepted.
  4. Each winner of the £15,000 prizes (5 in total) will be verified by Nestle Consumer Services and an independent third party, following receipt of information and the process followed as stated on their winning insert. During this verification process the Promoter will request winners address details to allow the promoter to dispatch a secure verification pack and pre-paid postage label. In this verification pack, the Promoter will request winners to post back securely the winning insert, tub & receipt plus information to validate the claim. The secure verification pack will be dispatched to the address provided during the phone call within 2 working days. The information required includes: their full name, confirmation of their mobile number, proof of ID including date of birth (passport, driving licence or equivalent form of ID that clearly states each winner's date of birth), email address, their GB bank details and county of residence to assist with verification and fulfilment of their prize, to announce them as a winner (if no objections arise) and to arrange BACS transfer. The financial information will be required to complete prize fulfilment. Inaccurate information may result in the prize being forfeited. Winners will have 14 days to send the required information from first contact with Nestle Consumer Services. However, if a winner does not send the above within 14 days, or if a selected winner is ineligible, rejects their prize or is otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to declare the prize null and void.
  5. Please retain any winning communication details until any prize has been verified. The Lucky Pennies sweets may be eaten.

General

  1. The Promoter shall have sole and final determination as to which entries are genuine and therefore eligible to take part in this promotion. The Promoter's decision is final and binding with regard to all promotional matters.
  2. The Promoter is not responsible for the acts or default of third-party suppliers, but will endeavour to resolve any issues that may arise.
  3. Limitations of liability: Neither the promoter, its agent or anyone professionally connected to the promotion, assume any responsibility or liability for:
    1. Any faulty, incorrect, erroneous or failed electronic data transmissions;

    2. Any difficulties in entering or claiming, any entries/claims delayed or corrupted, or any loss arising out of such an event.
    3. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regards to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion.
    4. Inaccessibility or unavailability of mobile signal, the internet or any combination thereof. Any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of barcodes at any point during the operation of this promotion;
    5. Any damage, injury or loss of earnings incurred directly or indirectly in relation to this promotion.
  4. If, for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by system virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  5. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion, the fulfilment of the prizes and/or the use of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for packaging, winning insert, proof of purchase or an understanding of how the tub was received and address and identity details including date of birth (passport, driving licence or equivalent form of identification clearly showing the winner's date of birth), which they must provide within 14 calendar days and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement, and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion or any instructions forming part of this promotion's entry requirements or otherwise, where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
  7. By taking part in the promotion the prize winners agree that the Promoter may contact them to ask for their consent as to whether they want to participate in reasonable marketing activities and publicity relating to the promotion only. Such publicity may include, without limitation, the entrant's name and/or if consent given, image or statements made by entrants concerning the promotion and/or prize obtained as part of the promotion. Winners are not obliged to agree to any requests.
  8. Subject to the Promoter's Privacy Policy, the £15,000 cash prize winners' surnames and counties of residence will be available by sending an email request to consumer.services@uk.nestle.com with 'WINNERS LIST: Nestlé Quality Street® Lucky Pennies' in the subject line, for a period of 3 months following 30.09.2026. When contacting this email address, your request will be actioned in line with Nestlé's Privacy Policy and the Promoter reserves the right to refuse any or all such requests. If any winner objects to their information being published, then they can contact the Promoter by emailing UKI.dataprotection@uk.nestle.com with the subject line 'Nestlé Quality Street® Lucky Pennies Activation'. The Promoter nevertheless will disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
  9. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  10. The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them)will be governed by the laws of the participating country and any disputes as to the meaning of these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the participant's local courts.

Data Protection

  1. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and the auditing of the entries where necessary and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent/you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications. The surnames and counties of residence of verified winners will be made available as set out above and winners can object to this by emailing UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com. Otherwise, your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 as applicable. Click here for the Promoter's Privacy Policy . You can request access to your personal data, have any inaccuracies rectified or request deletion of personal data by sending an email to UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time. For the purpose of the promotion, requests to delete personal data can only be actioned after the promotion has concluded. Any data obtained via this promotion will be deleted 3 months after the promotional period with the exception of the winners and reserves whose data will be deleted after fulfilment of the prize.
